Winter is coming...

It may not feel like it now... but Winter IS coming... here are a few scrapbook layouts to get you in the Winter spirit.

One winter day in 2010, we had the opportunity to go play in the SNOW... Being a school day for most people, we were the only family there for HOURS and HOURS... building Snow People was great fun!

Both Goosie and I did mini snow people, while Hunny and Doodles made a 'real' snowman (See last picture below)

My embellishments are simple, but I am happy with the page!

Here is the "real" Snow Man Hunny built. Overall it was a great day - and I was able to enjoy it in the moment, as well as when I saved the moment in my scrapbooks!

Let's get "Back to School" - 3 great layout choices for September!

Summer is fading away...and Fall is just around the corner. Join the spirit of the Back to School Season and take a 1 Creative bug class... especially if it has been awhile! (YOU ARE MISSED!)

We will create these layered layouts highlighting ribbons and flowers. The great thing about the flowers is they are ink-able - so we will custom colorize the flowers using a cool tool = daubbers. I'll also show you how to do the same thing with good- old-fashioned- makeup -sponges :-).

You need:

Trimmer

Scissors

Double Sided tape (Paper, like scotch or a runner)

Double sided tape - strong, like red-line or score tape (For the ribbon)

Memory and Mini sized glue dots

Bring a snack to share and $12.00 class fee.

See you TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2013

Layout Choices:

Fall Festival (Brown, Peach, Blue)

It's a Teal... (teal, black and dotted ribbon)

Recent Scrapbooking...

I have been busy the past few days working on my personal scrapbooks vs creating classes... sometimes you need a break from "work" even when you LOVE your job...

This is just a sample view of a page I did recording my 20 year reunion with the Poly High School Softball team. The event was in February of 2010. I used 2 sheets of baseball paper, fussy cutting the details and using foam pop adhesive to raise it up. I then used adhesive jewels and stickles to "pink up" the layout, making it more girlish.

Not every layout I do take this much time, but every once in awhile it is worth the effort.
