April Paper Piecing Class

PLEASE NOTE: Class will be held on April 12... the 2nd Tuesday this month as my Nephew is having heart surgery on the 5th.

March Class - Making Mosiacs

Class is just ONE WEEK AWAY! I am so very excited for this one... Here's what you need to bring:

A self healing mat

A ruler - metal edge is best

xacto or craft knife

4 - 6 pictures (Scenery like trees, flowers, etc work best)

Marlene and I will have some extra supplies ( I even have some extra pictures) on hand if you need anything - so no worries!

After we create our photo mosaic, we are going to create a paper mosaic that looks like the broken tile garden mosiacs the famous TV crafters make- the layout will be one all your friends will ooogle for sure... but you'll have to trust me on this one - no sneek peek this month.

February Class - Borders

Howdy fellow Creative Bugs! I have the layout for our February Class all done... we will be exploring the world of embellishing out layout with BORDERS... along with creating this 2 page layout we will also complete 3 borders for you to use when creating your own layouts. I am looking forward to class!

January Scrap Class - Using Patterned Paper

It's time to pick your layout for January's Patterned Paper Class... First up we have Winter Snowflakes....





The next layout is more on the general side and can be used with many different themes - I'm calling it So Random

You can email me your choice, or indicate when making your payment. The class is $15.00 and will be held this coming Tuesday - January 11th at 6:30 pm.

Merry Christmas Season! The shopping has begun... if you are looking for homemade holiday gifts - look not further... 1 Creative Bug is joining other quality vendors for a holiday Boutique Saturday December 4th from 9 am - 2pm. It will be held in one of the vendors homes in the Orangecrest area of Riverside... If you are interested, feel free to email me for the address.

I will be featuring Handmade items as well as my vinyl wall words and car decals!

A note about the December Scrap Class scheduled for December 7th... Miss Marlene, our Hostess with the Mostest is otherwise engaged for the evening therefore we are going to go with the flow and resume our classes in January... we will explore the world of using and mixing patterned papers on Tuesday, January 4, 2011

November Scrap Class - BRADS

Here they are the November Scrap Class previews... we will be working with Brads and you have your choice of layouts...

"Christmas Cookies" appears here first...it has the striped patterned paper

and

"Birthday Bash" appears below - it has a brighter green background and dotted patterned paper...

If you are a regular at my classes you should be shocked to see that layouts are NOT symetrical, they do however have balance ;-) and will be a lot of fun to put together.

The class fee includes everything you need to put together one of the 2 page layouts shown as well as an 8.5 x 11 transparent sheet of quotes - so you can add the christmas cookie, birthday bash or any other transparent quote to your loayout! Making this my most versitile class yet!

See you Tuesday November 2...same bat time,,, same bat place... if you are new to our classes - have no fear...register and I will send you the address. Remember it's $12.00 if you prepay and $15.00 at the door.
